What is a RSS feed?

Really Simple Syndication

RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication.  Think of syndication as publishing.  This a service that lets you receive automatic updates of content from your favorite websites and blogs.  So, instead of your news coming hot from the presses, so to speak, you get an electronic notification.  You can use a RSS feed reader or get updates sent straight to your email inbox.  One of the most popular RSS services is called Feedburner (recently acquired by Google).  You can set up your Google Reader Account with RSS feeds.  It’s easy to subscribe to the Lean Six Sigma Source RSS feeds using these links at the top of the page!
